We operate no backend user databases, no session recording tools, and no telemetry services that receive your code or designs.
2. How We Use Browser LocalStorage
We use your browser's localStorage strictly for client-side user experience continuity. The data stored includes:
- Topic Progress: Completed topics and roadmap milestones.
- GitSim Status: Completed challenges and interactive history state.
- System Design Canvas: Saved architectural diagrams and custom blueprints.
- Custom Templates: Custom project templates defined by you in ProjectForge.
- Practice & Interview Progress: Solved drills and completed mock interviews.
- Daily Streak: Activity tracking stored exclusively on your device.
This information is never transmitted to any external server. You can export a backup JSON or clear all data at any time from the Workspace & Progress page.
3. No Tracking Cookies & No Telemetry
DevForge does not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or third-party behavioral trackers. We do not record keystrokes, clipboard inputs, or IP addresses.
4. Offline & Client-Side Native
Once loaded in your browser, the platform assets are cached so you can continue learning, simulating Git, and generating projects even while completely disconnected from the internet.
5. Your Data, Your Control
You own 100% of your data. DevForge provides one-click JSON backup export and import, as well as a full reset option that permanently purges all data from your browser.
